Mix prints like a pro with a common color

Find one core color that runs throughout your look, then mix together two (or three) prints that have either a contrast in style or scale. Combine geometric shapes with organic ones and large scale patterns with small ones.

Work

Work

For work, combine your favorite graphic tee with slim, cropped pants and shiny pumps for an eclectic, office-appropriate look. Sizable stripes contrast with small-scale dots to create depth.

An inverted color scheme – mint is the “foreground” color in the sweater and the “background” color in the pants – tie these two pieces together. For a truly unique look, toss another (leopard) print on the pile.

Weekend

Weekend

Pair casual pieces in multiple patterns for an off-duty look that’s totally effortless. Both the scale and style of the prints are opposites but a connecting color (white) pulls it all together.
